WWE is not only going to be adding the new WWE Universal Championship to the RAW brand at SummerSlam next Sunday night, but they will also soon crown a WWE Cruiserweight Champion for their new brand-exclusive division.
While there has yet to be an official announcement from the company, PWInsider Elite reports that the WWE Cruiserweight title has actually recently been commissioned and is ready to go.
Although it hasn’t been confirmed, there is some speculation going around that the title will debut during the live finale of the ongoing WWE Cruiserweight Classic (CWC), which airs live on the WWE Network on Wednesday, September 14th at Full Sail University at Winter Park, Florida.
