WWE News: Lesnar's Raw Appearance, More Survivor Series Matches

— The idea to have Brock Lesnar appear on Monday’s WWE Raw was something that was set up within the last week. With Roman Reigns off of TV and Crown Jewel this Friday, WWE felt Lesnar was needed to be on the show (even though he didn’t really do anything) to help build towards the championship match.

— As noted before, it appears WWE is going ahead once again with a Raw vs. Smackdown theme for the upcoming Survivor Series. Aside from already announcing a champion vs. champion non-title match between Raw’s Ronda Rousey and Smackdown’s Becky Lynch, WWE has also seemingly set the stage for a traditional team match involving the women as Charlotte Flair was asked by Smackdown GM Paige last night if she wanted to captain the women’s team at the PPV (which she declined for now). As well, the announce team – while not explicitly stating the match or the competitors – revealed that Raw’s Intercontinental champion (currently Seth Rollins) will take on Smackdown’s US champion (currently Shinsuke Nakamura) at the PPV.
