— In a potentially huge, yet unannounced match for SummerSlam is that Bill Goldberg will returning for another match against Dolph Ziggler, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The current advertising by WWE suggests that Ziggler will be facing The Miz at the PPV but this is apparently a “red herring” with the idea that Ziggler – by disrespecting Shawn Michaels and super kicking him last week – is disrespecting the “legends” prompting Goldberg to return.
— Goldberg’s return to WWE sounds like a move made by Paul Heyman as Heyman was previously responsible for everything involving Goldberg when he was last with the promotion. Heyman is also a big proponent of having “one badass old man” coming back at random times – sort of like the role the Undertaker has played over the last decade.
