As promised, “The Architect” is once again the WWE Universal Champion, as Seth Rollins defeated Brock Lesnar to recapture the title in the main event of the WWE SummerSlam 2019 pay-per-view on Sunday night.
Rollins managed to get his hand raised and end Sunday night’s PPV at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada as the reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion of the World — just like he vowed to do leading into the big showdown.
After the match, Rollins celebrated with the WWE Universal Championship as the WWE Universe in attendance inside Scotiabank Arena cheered on “The Architect.”
After celebrating in the ring, the top dog on WWE’s red brand made his way back up the ramp and the top of the stage, where he poses one final time with the WWE Universal Championship before heading to the backstage area.
Once backstage, “The Architect” spoke with WWE.com for an exclusive interview to give his immediate reaction to once again becoming the “Beast Slayer” and WWE Universal Champion with his victory over “The Beast Incarnate.”
