Edmond, Okla. — Fresh off of a 1-2 performance as the NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals, the Minnesota State wrestling team is ranked No. 13 in the latest poll released by the Division II Wrestling Coaches Association poll. MSU shares the ranking with previously top-ranked, Nebraska-Kearney.
Individually, MSU sports four wrestlers ranked in their individual weight class. At 165-lbs, sophomore Cody Quinn moved up to No. 3. Quinn went 2-1 at the national duals and sits at 11-6 entering conference action.
Senior Aaron Norgren is ranked fifth at 184-lbs. After going 1-2 at the national duals, Norgren is 6-3 on the season.
Juniors David Demo (125 lbs) and Brendan Eichmann (174 lbs) are both ranked sixth. Demo stands at 12-9, while Eichmann is 11-6 entering conference duals.
Demo, Quinn and Eichmann are all the highest ranked NSIC wrestlers in the individual weight classes.

MSU will host a pair of NSIC duals this weekend as U-Mary will come to Mankato on Jan. 18, followed by Minot State on Jan. 19. Both duals are slated for 7 p.m.
