Sean Waltman Leaving Wrestling Soon, Taking Final Bookings

Sean Waltman, perhaps better known as X-Pac, Syxx, 1-2-3 Kid, and many other names, has confirmed via Twitter that he will no longer be wrestling by the end of the year, and he won’t be taking bookings for pro wrestling in the near future. Waltman said the following through social media:

Reminder to promoters: I’m done at the end of this year. I quit taking wrestling bookings soon. Contact: [email protected]

Waltman has been wrestling on and off again since the early 90s, and likely needs time off temporarily to heal his body and any nagging injuries. He noted on his X-Pac 12360 podcast a few weeks ago that he is not yet retiring from the ring, but will be taking an extended hiatus. “I told my agent, Bill Behrens, I told him to quit taking wrestling bookings in April. At the end of April I’m done taking wrestling bookings for the rest of the year. I am done wrestling independently this year. I am done. I’m not retired. I’m not going, okay this is my retirement. It is just my body is just like, come on.” Waltman admitted.
