Lucha Underground has been providing fans of wrestling with a different take on the sport, and it has been widely praised ever since the show first began. The show is currently in the midst of it’s third season and some fans have been worrying about the future of the series, since no fourth season has been announced as of yet. Luckily for fans, El Rey Network’s Chief Creative Officer, Skip Chaisson recently did an interview with IGN and claimed that there have been talks to renew the show for a fourth season. It appears that a fourth season could definitely be in the pipeline, but the issue is the network finding a proper time to air the new season.
While Lucha Underground has some supporters, it definitely is going to need much more help in the future. The show is said to be cherished by fans and the creators of the series, but the ratings for the show are still not as high as the network was supposedly hoping for. The artistic way that the show is shot and produced costs the network a ton of money and the El Rey Network is still seen as a relatively small station. Not to mention that some of the promotion’s biggest stars, such as Ricochet and Rey Mysterio appear to be ready to depart the show due to the uncertainty that surrounds it. If Lucha Underground does stay afloat, let’s hope that they will be able to become one of the biggest wrestling shows today.
As it turns out, “Bo-lieving” isn’t just a catchphrase for Raw superstar Bo Dallas. He appeared on the Talk is Jericho podcast and revealed that he believes strongly in numerous conspiracy theories. For instance, he believes that the Bible is missing chapters, and that they are in the possession of lizard people, or the Illuminati. He also believes that aliens live in the center of the earth, the buildings hit on 9/11 were “controlled destructions”, the moon landing did happen, but the video was faked because of what they found there, and that there were a race of giant people at one point, and that actors are paid by the US government to debunk these theories. He stated: “I question but I also accept knowledge that is given to me. If I learn or am told something and I did the research and it was debunked I would believe it. If the facts were there, I would say obviously it makes sense. But to not question at all is ridiculous.”
