Macaulay Culkin Interferes in Match, WWE in South Korea, Swann

It’s the holiday season, which means that thousands have been rewatching the classic Home Alone film starring a young Macaulay Culkin. The actor of the film recently paid homage to his classic childhood role during an independent wrestling show this week. A Bar Wrestling event in Los Angeles saw Culkin interfere in a tag team match against the World’s Cutest Tag Team and Dick Justice against Peter Avalon, Ray Rosas, and Swoggle. Culkin emptied a bucket of balls in the ring, which caused the athletes to fall over just as the Wet Bandits did in the film. He later threw a bucket into the faces of the heel team, allowing the babyfaces to get the win. Check out video below courtesy of Pro Wrestling Sheet:

WWE has been attempting to expand all over the world over the past few years, and they have recently acquired television deals for Asian and Arabian nations. The company has now put out a statement confirming that they have successfully negotiated to bring WWE programming to the nation of South Korea. WWE and their partner IB Sports will be bringing live wrestling content to the country for the first time ever. The plan is to air Raw and Smackdown live each week. It is also mentioned that fans will be able to watch events such as the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series through IB Sports as well.

Rich Swann is currently suspended from WWE due to a recent arrest for what is alleged to be a domestic incident involving his wife, independent wrestler Su Yung. The incident forced WWE to suspend Swann indefinitely due to their zero tolerance policy on issues relating to domestic violence, and they also changed their planned number one contender’s match for the cruiserweight title between Swann and Drew Gulak to Cedric Alexander vs. Gulak instead. Ian M. Pickens, Swann’s attorney, provided the following update relating to Swann’s arrest to the Sporting News. “At this point, no criminal charges have been filed officially against him so depending on how that process plays out will determine our scope of representation.  We’re hopeful for a fair and quick resolution on behalf of Mr. Swann, but ultimately the state attorney will make their decision (on potential charges) when they deem it appropriate.  We’re working on the case now and things we may do to assist Mr. Swann. But as far as specifics, I can’t comment on that.”
