B.O.L.A. CONTINUES
A quiet weekend in pro wrestling continues outside the hotbed of Reseda, CA, for Pro Wrestling Guerilla’s Battle of Los Angeles. If you’ve been on Twitter lately, you’ve likely read about some of the action…and seen a few interesting pictures here and there.
Here’s what happened on night 2 with the night 3 finale happening Sunday. As you might expect, it’s safe to say that the DVD release might be worth the purchase alone given the night 2 six-man main event.
After making his PWG debut against Sami Callihan on last night’s show, Cody Rhodes tweeted video of Brandi Rhodes doing his ring introduction for the match.
Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez will return with their weekend show tonight. Dave stayed for night three of BOLA so he’ll have a lot to talk about on the show. They will also return after Raw Monday. Bryan has an After Dark Radio up now, a Bryan & Vinny Show later tonight, and another Wrestling Observer Radio with Dave Monday. Mike Sempervive will be doing Observer Live Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Bryan will return with a vengeance — or, perhaps, A MASSACRE — on Wednesday.
THE ROUND-UP

CM Punk: Vince McMahon is bankrolling a lawsuit against me – Read as “bank trolling” and it’s even funnier. Vince McMahon is suing his former champion. Well, it’s not the first time.
PWG Battle of Los Angeles night one results: BOLA begins – It’s not the CWC, it’s not the Super J-Cup… it’s better. It’s BOLA BAY BAY!
Figure Four Weekly: 8/29/2016, NWA vs. Department of Justice – Recently, as an outgrowth of my interest in public records, court records, and so on, I started to get into the habit of filing Freedom of Information Act (or “FOIA”) requests with various United States government agencies. It was the same fascination that took me to the court records; There’s stuff out there, just waiting to be seen, that nobody was looking at… Subscribers click here to continue reading.
