New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) recently held the fourteenth and final night of their Road To Destruction Tour which is also known as Destruction In Kobe and it emanated from The Kobe World Hall in Hyogo, Japan. The show featured “The Ace Of NJPW” Hiroshi Tanahashi taking on “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada in the main event to determine to will face IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega for The IWGP Heavyweight Title at Tokyo Dome in January. In The IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title Picture, there was a semifinal match in an IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title Tournament that featured KUSHIDA taking on BUSHI. The winner of that match will have to wait and see who will win between “The Villain” Marty Scurll & Will Ospreay, which will be taking place at Fighting Spirit Unleashed on September 30th. The finals will go down at King Of Pro Wrestling on October 8th. Below are the full results from the show:

– “The Ace Of NJPW” Hiroshi Tanahashi def. “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada to become the new #1 Contender For The IWGP Heavyweight Title at Tokyo Dome in January. After the match, “Switchblade” Jay White ran to the ring, took out Tanahashi, Rocky Romero, and then went after Okada, obviously making his exit from CHAOS. Although still friends at the time, Okada had recently split from his manager, Gedo, but Gedo ended up turning on Okada by hitting him in the back with a chair. Gedo then gave White the briefcase and said that he will get a shot at Tanahashi next.
