NXT fan-favorite Johnny Gargano was called up to WWE’s main roster a few weeks ago along with fellow NXT Superstars Ricochet, Aleister Black, and Tommaso Ciampa. Gargano has appeared in tag team matches with Ciampa on Raw and SmackDown over the past few weeks, but when did he receive the news regarding his main roster promotion? According to Gargano during an interview with Cleveland’s WKYC, he was in his mother’s house in Cleveland when he received the phone call informing him that he was being called up. He was visiting the area for his father’s 77th birthday party later that night. The party took place only a few days ago. It has previously been reported that Vince McMahon called up the NXT Superstars without notifying Triple H ahead of time.
Madison Rayne was working for Ring of Honor, and she also appeared in WWE and other promotions over the past few months. However, she will be returning to her home, Impact Wrestling, very soon. Impact announced on social media today that the former Knockouts Champion is coming back to the promotion for the first time since August of last year. Rayne is completely back with Impact as she has signed a multi-year deal with the promotion. The news comes right after she left ROH due to a reported creative issue. Although she and ROH are said to be on good terms, Madison Rayne has already signed on with a different promotion, so be on the lookout for Rayne as she will be making her return soon.
