LOS ANGELES, CA — While some kids may just want their two front teeth for Christmas, others have more extensive needs such as Gucci slides, “asenchal oil,” $4,000 and a Chanel purse.
A 10-year-old Los Angeles girl gobsmacked her dad with a “Christmas list” that includes just about everything including a healthy dose of chutzpah. Only a 10-year-old could come up with a list at once so mercenary, childlike and guileless.
The girl’s father, who goes by A_Johnson412 on Twitter, posted a picture of the list, noting, “My 10-year-old daughter must be out of her mind with this Christmas list.”
The list opens with the big ticket electronics including an “iphone 11, a macbook air, and air pods,” but then it takes a sharp turn with “a real bunny.” She’ll need some pink pumas to go with her Gucci slides, too. But she’s not just thinking about herself this holiday season. She’s also looking out for her American Girl Doll, who is going to need a new car. And that new bunny will need some clothes, naturally.
The list peaks with the request for cold, hard cash — four figures, please. And then it ends on a practical note with a request for an alarm clock.
It seems she has a wakeup call in store for her.
“My soon to be 10 year old daughter clearly has a false sense of funds that we have with this Christmas list.,” her dad wrote on Instagram. “But kudos to her for her expensive taste.”
The list quickly racked up more than 129,000 likes on Twitter, and the twittersphere reacted with customary humor and outrage.

“Sneaking in that 4K at the bottom is a rockstar move,” wrote one admirer.
Others saw it as a sad commentary on the role of commercialism in children’s lives. Still others chastised the poor dad for spoiling his daughter and suggested he take her to an orphanage or Skid Row for a taste of the real world.
