Disgusted with the stinking toilets in Indian trains? Well, that would soon become a thing of the past. Indian Railways has found a solution for choking and stinking problem. Railways is planning to place dustbins in all lavatories by the end of this year, according to sources quoted in a PTI report.
Items like sanitary napkins, bottles and plastic bags are often found stuck in bio-toilets in train coaches. It not only causes choking but also stinking.
According to a report by Financial Express, “Such dustbins are already in the process of being installed in the bio-toilets of as many as 40,283 train coaches, while the installations have been already completed in 30,000 train coaches.”
