Taylor Swift’s Revenge Bod Is on Point in a Sheer Cutout Gown at the CMAs

Taylor Swift knows the only thing “better than revenge” is rocking one killer dress, and she definitely delivered at Wednesday night’s Country Music Association Awards. The country-turned-pop star, who returned to the CMAs for the first time in three years, made a surprise appearance to present the Entertainer of the Year trophy to Garth Brooks.

“It’s been almost 13 years since I came to Nashville with a dream of being a songwriter and a recording artist,” she said. “And I learned so much about what it means to be an entertainer from the remarkable artists in this arena tonight.”

Swift chose the perfect dress for her big return, stunning in a sheer-illusion cutout Julien Macdonald dress with a thigh-high center slit that showed off those million-dollar gams. She paired the radiant look with cherry red lipstick and oversize black earrings, proving she’s come a long way from her days of all-pink everything.

The singer also caught up backstage with Little Big Town, whose song “Better Man” she was just revealed to have secretly written, causing fangirls everywhere to declare “Country Tay is back.”

“Congratulations on CMA Vocal Group of the Year and the #1 song on iTunes @littlebigtown,” she wrote alongside this sweet ‘gram.

While she returned to her country roots for the night, it sounds like Swift’s new music will have a decidedly more pop feel. The singer is reportedly creating new music with Drake, which sounds like the formula for some chart-topping new songs.

We missed out on a new Taylor album this October (as predicted), but we’re hoping this new music is worth the wait.
