Manchester United transfer news: Red Devils facing competition from Manchester City, Juventus and Real Madrid for Federico Chiesa

Manchester United are battling it out with many of Europe’s top clubs for the signature of Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa, reports claim.

The Italy international is one of the most exciting prospects in Serie A and everyone wants a piece of the 21-year-old.

According to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Chiesa is also wanted by Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Juventus and Manchester City.

Fiorentina value the player at £60million, however that number is continually rising as Chiesa continues to perform exceptionally well in 2019.

He has seven goals already since the turn of the year, with a hat-trick in the Viola’s 7-1 humiliation of Roma in the Coppa Italia.

The winger has earned 11 caps for Italy after working his way through the Azzurri’s youth ranks.

United are not short of wide players, especially after Anthony Martial signed a new deal keeping him at the club until 2024.

The Red Devils are also rumoured to be interested in a summer move for England sensation Jadon Sancho.

The 18-year-old has risen to stardom at Borussia Dortmund after leaving Manchester City in 2017.
