AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma makes superb double save against Roma

Gianluigi Donnarumma proved once again why he is one of the hottest prospects in world football on Sunday.

The teenager made a string of fine saves to earn AC Milan a point against Roma in their Serie A clash.

One moment of brilliance in particular stuck out among the rest when he pulled off a stunning double save to deny Patrik Schick and then Edin Dzeko.

His fine performance prevented Roma from leap-frogging AC Milan to fourth in the league standings – with the match eventually finishing 1-1.

Astonishingly, Donnarumma has already made 128 appearances for the Rossoneri and he is just 19 years old.

He became the second youngest goalkeeper to start a Serie A match in the 2015/16 season at the age of 16 years and 242 days.

Although the Italy international is by no means the complete goalkeeper yet, his imperious performances between the sticks show he may well be one of the world’s best in the near future.
