Arsenal will try to sign Leandro Trossard if Denis Suarez’s loan move flops, according to reports.
The Gunners have an option to buy Suarez from Barcelona for £18million at the end of the season.
But if the Spaniard, who joined on loan last month, fails to impress then Arsenal will reportedly turn their attention to Genk winger Trossard.
The Belgian is one of Genk’s star players and has scored 10 league goals this term.
His form earned him a first senior call-up to the Belgian national squad earlier this season.
Football.London claim Unai Emery has been interested in a move for the winger since November.
Trossard, who is valued at £22million, would give Arsenal some much-needed width. Alex Iwobi is the club’s only out-and-out wide man.
And the 24-year-old fits into the Gunners’ budget with Emery believed to be given only £40million to spend this summer.
