FC Lorient have announced the signing of Nigerian winger Taofeek Ismaheel (21) from Fredrikstad of the Norwegian second division.
Having signed a contract until June 2025, he will return immediately to Norway, on loan to top flight side Vålerenga Fotball.
Last season, Ismaheel made 30 league appearances, scoring 13 goals and registering 7 assists in that time.
Ismaheel becomes Lorient’s second winter arrival from the Norwegian leagues, having signed Ibrahima Koné for €4 million from first division Sarpsborg on deadline day.
