Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe remains in talks with his club over a potential contract extension, but the French defender also wants to undergo a spell abroad before the end of his career, according to L’Équipe.
The Ligue 1 leaders’ defensive outlook remains uncertain going into next season, with Sergio Ramos’ deal expiring at the end of the current campaign and Kimpembe out of contract the following summer. Inter defender Milan Škriniar has reportedly given his agreement to join PSG on a free next summer, having turned down various extension offers from the Nerazzurri – and his move could even be pushed forward to this winter.
A move abroad for Kimpembe – who was the subject of several offers, including from Chelsea this summer – is not out of the question, although football advisor Luís Campos has no intention of letting him go easily – the champions will expect a high fee to part ways with the homegrown defender.
