Major Star Reportedly NOT Expected To Compete At WrestleMania 36

In a new report by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio, it appears that WWE’s COO, Triple H isn’t set to compete at WrestleMania 36.

A major Triple H match has become quite the staple of WrestleMania in past years having competed in major bouts against the likes of Batista, Daniel Bryan, and Sting. However, it looks like this year he will be taking a step back and just working the event from behind the scenes.

Triple H hasn’t been seen on television since the build towards WWE Survivor Series, and even then that was only to build NXT as the brand’s leader.

He isn’t the only legend not expected to wrestle either, as Dave Meltzer has also stated that Goldberg isn’t currently pencilled in for anything on the show in April.

Below is exactly what Meltzer had to say on the situation (H/T to Cultaholic.com for the transcription)

“Another note is that as of the most recent lineup, HHH is not scheduled to wrestle on the show, nor is Bill Goldberg or Ronda Rousey.”

Of course, between now and WrestleMania plans can change, and there’s no guarantee that this will remain the case.
