According to our colleagues at Foot Mercato, Middle Eastern side Lekhwiya have entered into talks for the transfer of Swansea striker Bafétimbi Gomis.
According to the report, while the player has not asked to leave the Premier League outfit next month, the Qatari side have approached Gomis’s entourage with a three year contract offer worth €4m a year net.
Swansea would need at least €10m to sell the player next month. The club is currently without a manager following the sacking of Gary Monk.
Talks are understood to be underway between all three parties concerning a move and a deal for next month is certainly a possibility.
