According to France Football, Championship side Bristol City are very interested in potentially acquiring Claudio Beauvue from Lyon this month, but they would need to offer €7m in order to make OL part with the player.

In the meantime, Spanish side Celta Vigo, a club that Beauvue has already agreed personal terms with and who have had two offers rejected by Lyon for the player because they were deemed insufficient financially, have made a renewed offer for the player.
The offer is worth €4m plus €1m, similar to the previous one, but the bonuses in this offer are more easily attainable than in the last.
Lyon President Aulas conceded that the club was set to sell the player in an interview with RMC on Monday.
