Angers SCO have confirmed the deadline-day acquisition of Spanish striker Cristian López.
The forward has signed a two-year contract at the Stade Raymond Kopa following his release from Ligue 2 side RC Lens.
Lopez boasted an impressive record at his former club- albeit in the second-tier of France- having notched 35 goals from 73 appearances in all competitions over the course of his two seasons at the club.
The 29-year-old striker will compete with fellow forwards Stéphane Bahoken and Wilfried Kanga to provide a goal-scoring impetus to an Angers side who have seen former strikers Toko Ekambi and Enzo Crivelli depart this summer.
Lopez has endured something of a nomadic career to date, having played for a number of lower-league clubs across the continent, including Alicante, Real Madrid B, Atlético Baleares, Burgos and Romanian side CFR Cluj.
