L’Équipe report this afternoon that Bordeaux defender Mexer has turned down a move to Turkish side Fatih Karagümrük, despite a loan offer being accepted.
The 33-year-old centre-back is not against leaving the club, but would like a transfer that would see him commit beyond the next six months.
The Mozambique international, formerly of Rennes, is one of the senior players that Bordeaux are looking to move on over the course of the current transfer window.
