RMC Sport report this evening that Sergio Ramos is expected to miss the first leg of Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League knockout clash against against his former club Real Madrid.
Having picked up another calf injury – the same issue that delayed his PSG debut by several months shortly after arriving – the Spaniard is working hard to come back in time.
However, the Spaniard has five appearances in all competitions this season, and there is said to be a certain pessimism among those close to him regarding a swift return to action.
With the match scheduled to take place in two weeks’ time – the second leg will be on March 9 – Mauricio Pochettino is now expected to line up with a Marquinhos-Presnel Kimpembe defensive partnership.
