Cyber attack prevents revelations of alleged sexual abuse cover-ups at the FFF

According to investigative journalist Romain Molina, his revelations in Norwegian outlet Josimar Fotball about an alleged 40 years’ worth of sexual abuse cover ups at the French Football Federation has been the subject of cyber attacks which have reportedly seen the site blocked.

Molina tweeted about the attack, saying: “So according to Josimar’s technical services, the site is down because it is under attack… That’s nice.”

The news outlet reported that the site was down due to an attack: “According to the tech people at our ISP, our site is under attack – and therefore blocked. Hopefully this will be sorted soon.”

RMC Sport reported yesterday afternoon that the French Football Federation have filed a legal complaint for libel against the magazine So Foot, who published an investigation last week claiming a number of issues within the organisation, including alleged inappropriate text messages sent by president Noël Le Graët to younger female colleagues. Molina had backed the findings of the So Foot investigation, and announced that he would reveal his own findings on the Josimar Football site today.
