Lorient’s Terem Moffi wants Nice move as Bamba Deing switch hangs in the balance

According to Santi Aouna and Sebastien Denis of Foot Mercato, OGC Nice are still pushing for Lorient striker Terem Moffi, who now reportedly wants to to move to the Cote d’Azur side – they have submitted a fifth bid yesterday afternoon for €20 million plus €3 million in bonuses.

Meanwhile, Marseille president Pablo Longoria couldn’t convince the Nigerian striker in person to join the Olympians, even going as far to travel to Lorient to try and convince Moffi of a move – who is reportedly set on joining Nice.

In the other direction, Bamba Dieng underwent a medical which reportedly went well, apart from worries about a knee injury which saw his September deadline day move to Nice fall through at the last minute.

Lorient are reportedly questioning whether to continue negotiations with Marseille as the player’s profile interests the current coach, Régis Le Bris, who knows how to use him in his tactical set-up (especially in the case that Moffi leaves the club).
