UNLESS WE’RE WATCHING live TV, we normally fast forward through ads. But to be fair to Andre Young and his fancy headphones, Beats are making a habit of creating some pretty cool sports commercials of late.
Take this one, for example. One of three long play ads launched on the eve of the World Cup. It stars Wesley Fofana (as himself) attempting to block out the noise of the doubting French public.

Maybe it’s due to the line, ‘they’ll go abroad and become as famous as Daft Punk’ (or just because it’s in French) but it might be the best of the three here.
Obviously though Les Bleus are on a hiding to nothing in Pool D. The ad appears to have forgotten about Ireland, pitting the French rooster against a bulldog when surely a wolfhound would have sent feathers flying.
