Despite a report earlier in the day that AEW is considering an authority figure and that it could be Taz, Figure Four Daily reports that’s not the case. The site reports that Taz is being brought in to appear on next week’s Dynamite to replace Tony Schiavone on commentary for the night. Schiavone will be announcing the Sugar Bowl on the radio on New Year’s Day, thus obviously precluding him from calling Dynamite.
