Did Charlotte Know Ric Flair Would Be on Smackdown?
As seen on WWE Smackdown Live this week, Charlotte Flair defeated Natalya to become the new WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion. As a result of the win, Charlotte will go on to face Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss at Survivor Series in a Champion vs Champion match.
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, host Bryan Alvarez noted that Charlotte Flair knew her father Ric Flair would be returning to WWE TV on the show and would come out to celebrate her title win live on Smackdown. In a Smackdown fallout video, Charlotte claimed Ric’s appearance was a surprise, but she, in fact, knew about everything planned in advance.
