Impact Wrestling Results
December 7, 2017

– Alberto el Patron did a backstage promo mocking Eli Drake for being a paper champion, and threatened to hunt him down throughout the entire building as payback for getting involved in last week’s title match.

(1) Taiji Ishimori def. Caleb Konley in a good opener with the 450 splash.

(2) Rosemary def. Sienna and Allie in a triple threat Knockouts Championship tournament bout.

– Next week it will be Rosemary vs. Laurel Van Ness in the finals to decide who will win the vacant Knockouts Championship.

– Sami Callihan and the Crist brothers were in the ring trashing Canada for being bull crap. Sami is really into calling everyone and everything bull crap, including LAX. He admitted that things between the two factions were getting a bit out of control, but things aren’t going to slow down any time soon and he’s accepted that. Sami called it “gang warfare” and promised that LAX would get a rematch for the titles but they were going to name the time, place, and stipulation.

– A team I’ve never seen before called TDT came out to defend Canada from Sami Callihan’s tirade on the Great White North. A brawl broke out between TDT and OVE in which the bad guys easily got the upper hand, but LAX ran out and chased them off.

– Gail Kim caught up with Allie backstage as she was trying to leave the arena, as she was visibly upset over dropping the ball in her chance to finally become champion. Gail told her to keep her chin up and said that the time of Allie had begun.

(3) Ethan Carter III retained the Impact Grand Championship against Matt Sydal after the match ended in a draw. EC3 won the first round and Sydal came back to win round two after lots of dives and a big kick to the head. In the final round they both went all-out looking for finishers, but Sydal missed the Shooting Star and Carter couldn’t hit the One-Percenter. The judges ruled it a draw.

(4) Bobby Lashley & Dan Lambert def. Moose & James Storm. Lots of interference from American Top Team. Lashley hit a spear on Storm and Lambert tagged in just to make the cover.

(5) Johnny Impact & Petey Williams def. Eli Drake & Chris Adonis. Good main event tag team match with Williams taking a lot of the damage throughout. Adonis put him in the Master Lock at the end, but Impact nailed him with a kick and hit Starship Pain.

– The show ended with Alberto el Patron coming out through the fans and dropping Eli Drake with a pretty sick DDT right on top of the Global Championship.
