One of the top WWE UK Superstars has been pulled from an independent date just one day before the WWE Royal Rumble, leaving speculation that he could be a surprise entrant in the men’s Rumble match this Sunday.

WWE UK Champion, Pete Dunne was scheduled to perform at Brittania Wrestling Promotions, ‘Royally Rumbled’ show on Saturday, but the British independent company has confirmed Dune will no longer be appearing at the show.

BWP stated in a Facebook post that Dunne has been recalled by WWE to America ahead of the WWE Royal Rumble event, though with NXT Takeover also happening that weekend, he could also appear on that show.
BWP did manage to find a suitable replacement for Dunne in the form of fellow WWE UK wrestler, Trent Seven, who will now be competing instead.
