Big Name Officially Announced for Next Week’s Smackdown Live, Daniel Bryan Issues SummerSlam Challenge to The Miz

As previously noted, Daniel Bryan and The Miz got into yet another war of words this week on Smackdown Live, but with the A-Lister busy on the set of his new hit reality series Miz & Mrs., the WWE Universe will have to continue waiting to see these two finally get their hands on each other.

That being said, Bryan did throw down a challenge to the former WWE Champion for a bout at the Hottest Party of the Summer, so it looks like we’re only a few weeks ago from getting what we all want to see.

AJ Styles Returns to Smackdown

WWE Champion AJ Styles will return to Smackdown Live next week, according to the official announcement made during tonight’s show. The “Phenomenal One” will appear live before the crowd to address some absolutely savage and uncalled for comments made by his long-time rival Samoa Joe, who he will step into the ring with later this month at WWE SummerSlam.

Also announced for next Tuesday’s show is a match between old tag team rivals The New Day and The Bar, who have competed against each other numerous times for both Raw and Smackdown over the last few years. The two will face off one more time for the blue brand, with the winner getting a title match against The Bludgeon Brothers at SummerSlam.
