Tommaso Ciampa Pulled From World League Wrestling Appearance

It has been announced today that the WWE NXT Champion, Tommaso Ciampa will not be making his previously advertised World League Wrestling appearance.

Ciampa was originally scheduled to appear for Harley Race’s World League Wrestling’s upcoming Night Of Champions 4 event on 3/9, but today he has been officially pulled from that show, which is also featuring the NWA Champion, Nick Aldis.

However, WWE will still be sending an NXT Superstar to the show, with Undisputed Era leader, Adam Cole now appearing instead of Ciampa.

This decision is an interesting one, as it was reported earlier this week that the NXT Champion is currently suffering an injury, which caused several re-writes during WWE Raw last week.

It is unfortunate that @ProjectCiampa won't be able to make it, as we were sincerely looking forward to seeing him here on WLW turf once again. However, having @AdamColePro appear in place of Ciampa is one that we are sure fans will love!
