During the latest episode of The Bellas Podcast, former WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan discussed his current retirement plans in regards to wrestling.
Obviously, Bryan has already experienced retiring once in his career, when he was forced to hang up the boots due to what was thought to be career-threatening injuries. Since his return, Bryan has had arguably the best run of his career, capturing the WWE Championship and the SmackDown Live Tag Team Titles in the process.
However, that doesn’t mean Bryan is planning on wrestling forever, and when speaking with his wife and Nikki Bella, he revealed how long he plans to wrestle full-time for.
“My retirement from full-time wrestling which will be coming up sooner rather than later in the next couple of years, that probably won’t mean retirement for [Brie] for how busy you are. It will probably be me taking on more of the parental role.”
Bryan will team up with Roman Reigns this Sunday at WWE Hell In A Cell as they take on Luke Harper and Erick Rowan.
