WWE Smackdown Tapings Results
Airing This Friday, 8/21
* The Big Show, Chris Jericho and Dolph Ziggler beat Rey Mysterio and Cryme Tyme when Dolph pinned Rey. Note that they opened up pushing SummerSlam, not Santino Marella.
* Matt Hardy did an interview where he apologized for turning on Jeff and being jealous of him.
* Kane did a promo where he ran down The Great Khali. Khali came storming out and Kane did what heels do in WWE, he ran.
* Finlay beat Mike Knox by DQ when Knox wouldn’t stop beating him down.
* Jeff Hardy did a promo while sitting on a ladder saying that his doctor said he shouldn’t wrestle Sunday and should retire. He doesn’t listen to his doctor. CM Punk came out tried to knock Jeff off but Jeff recovered and hit a Twist of Fate on Punk.
* Melina and Maria beat Layla and Natalya.
* The Hardy Boyz and John Morrison beat Punk and the Hart Dynasty when Matt pinned Punk. It sure looks like they have set Punk up to injure Jeff on Sunday and for Matt to take Jeff’s spot on Smackdowm.
