WWE Hall of Famers “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels were rumored for Monday’s 20th Anniversary RAW from their home state of Texas, but neither man showed up. It turns out, both men were in Las Vegas. Here’s what they tweeted about not showing up on RAW:
Austin: “Hitting the hay in Las Vega. Hope Raw was a fun show. I was already booked here at the Shot Show in Vegas, as I am every year. #hunting.”
Shawn Michaels “I was honest when I said I was in Las Vegas for SHOT show!”
Michaels said he won’t be at tonight’s SmackDown tapings from his home town of San Antonio and said it’s unfortunate that some WWE fans don’t appreciate that he has non-WWE commitments.
Jim Ross also tweeted about Austin and Michaels missing Raw:
“Steve Austin had a long standing commitment that prevented him (from) being ar #RAW20. So did Shawn Michaels. LIGHTEN UP.”
