Sting Officially Retires From Pro Wrestling Due To Neck Injury

Well, it looks like “The Stinger” is calling it a career.

TMZ.com broke the story on Thursday that the legendary Steve Borden (Sting) is officially retiring from pro wrestling due to the neck injury that has sidelined him since his match with Seth Rollins at the WWE Night Of Champions pay-per-view.

TMZ is reporting that Sting was diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis, leading several doctors to determine that it’s too risky for him to ever get back inside the ring.

Sting will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame at this year’s ceremony scheduled for WrestleMania 32 weekend.
