Jeff Hardy will get another shot to win back the WWE United States Championship at this week’s edition of WWE SmackDown Live.
Hardy lost the WWE U.S. Title to Shinsuke Nakamura at the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view last night, it was announced that Hardy will get an immediate rematch at the post-PPV episode of TV for the blue brand on Tuesday night.
Nakamura defeated Hardy with a low blow and a Kinshasa to win the title at Extreme Rules, which led to the return of Randy Orton. Orton also took down Hardy and kicked him for a low blow after a quick staredown with Nakamura.
Orton last appeared back in May at the WWE Backlash pay-per-view, where he lost to Hardy in a WWE United States Championship match.
