WWE 205 Live Preview: Six-man Action to Test New Alliance

— Tonight’s WWE 205 Live preview from WWE.com:

Six-man tag team mayhem

Since making an impressive WWE 205 Live debut against WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy, Humberto Carrillo has captured the attention of the WWE Universe — and of Drew Gulak and Gentleman Jack Gallagher. As a result, The Submission Commission made it their goal to take Carrillo under their wing and show him the ways of their technical abilities, rather than allowing the Mexican Superstar to continue to rely on his lucha training. Carrillo has seemingly embraced Gulak and Gallagher’s desire to mentor him, but his own motivations remain to be seen.

Tonight, the newfound alliance will be put to the ultimate test, as Carrillo joins Gulak and Gallagher against their longtime rivals, The Lucha House Party. Will the alliance between Carrillo, Gulak and Gallagher prove fruitful, or will Kalisto, Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik send them back to the drawing board?

Tony Nese is heading to WrestleMania

Last week on WWE 205 live, Tony Nese defeated Cedric Alexander in the finals of the Cruiserweight Championship Tournament and secured his opportunity to challenge WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy at WrestleMania. Following his victory, The Premier Athlete was congratulated by the champion – his friend and training partner – only to find himself on the receiving end of a stunning attack.

How will Nese respond to Murphy’s brazen actions? Can the champion get inside his training partner’s head with less than two weeks before WrestleMania? Or will The Premier Athlete remain laser-focused on capturing the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at MetLife Stadium, just miles from his home in Long Island?

Don’t miss WWE 205 Live tonight at 10/9 C, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network.
