– As previously reported, WWE announced three title matches for next week’s NXT TV on USA Network show, the first to go against the debuting AEW Dynamite on TNT series.
Among the matches, which include The Street Profits challenging Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish for the NXT Tag-Team Titles and Candice LeRae challenging Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s Title is a one-on-one match pitting Matt Riddle against Adam Cole for the NXT World Title.
After earning his shot at current NXT Champion Adam Cole, whom he squared off with and even temporarily trapped in a Fujiwara armbar on this week’s episode of NXT TV, “The King of Bros” took to social media to comment on next week’s important match in his career.
“This journey has been long and brutal and [Killian Dain] pushed me to my limits tonight in this street fight,” wrote Riddle via Twitter after his victory on NXT TV on USA Network this evening. “But I came out on top and next week [Adam Cole] the title is coming home with the real stallion of NXT bro #stallion #nxt #bro #andnewnxtchampion #ob #originalbro #USA.”
