As previously reported, Jinder Mahal’s title reign will be coming to an end sooner rather than later. The reason WWE was initially pushing Mahal hard was to try and use his nationality as a way to increase their market in India. But it was recently reported that those hopes have died down and the company is now ready to remove the title from Mahal.
There are also backstage reports that indicate that John Cena will be next opponent of Jinder Mahal. But not only will Cena be the next opponent of Jinder Mahal, he will be the one to beat Jinder Mahal for the WWE Title and it will likely happen at SummerSlam.
Additional reports says that after Cena defeats Jinder Mahal and totally removes him from the title picture, Cena will defend the WWE Title against Baron Corbin. This means that Baron Corbin will be cashing in his Money in the Bank contract and he will be defeating Cena for the WWE Title.
