It was reported earlier this week that CM Punk may be close to securing a role on an upcoming television drama on the Starz network. That show has reportedly been put on hold, so it appears that Punk has gone back to training for another MMA fight. Duke Roufus, Punk’s trainer, confirmed on social media that Punk has been training for his next fight at his gym. There is currently no word on who Punk will be fighting next, or even where he will fight next, but Punk is indeed going to be continuing his training in MMA after all. Punk made his MMA debut one year ago with a loss to Mickey Gall at the UFC 203 pay-per-view in September of 2016.

Despite retiring from the ring last year, it is no secret that Daniel Bryan wants to continue his wrestling career, and he very well may do so after his contract with WWE expires. ROH COO Joe Koff has said that he would gladly welcome Bryan back to the promotion if he decided to go there. In a new interview with The AV Club, Joe Koff revealed some important information concerning Bryan’s contract with WWE. In the interview, he claimed that Bryan’s current WWE deal expires in September of 2018. Assuming that WWE will likely insert a 90-day no-compete clause, this puts Bryan’s return to wrestling somewhere close to early 2019 if he decides to wrestle again after all.
The Big Show reemerged on television earlier this year after getting himself into tremendous shape, and he has managed to have some incredible matches against the likes of Braun Strowman this year as well. Unfortunately, he was injured and had to be taken out of action for several months earlier this past summer. Cageside Seats has now provided an update on Big Show’s condition. They claim that Big Show is currently back in the gym training at the moment. This is fortunate news for fans clamoring to see the giant return to television soon. As far as a return is concerned, it appears that he will likely be ready to comeback sometime in early 2018.
