NJPW & ROH recently had their co-promotional Honor Rising: Night One PPV Event that took place at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The show was headlined by the match between the team of Cody, Marty Scurll & Hangman Page defeating the team of Kota Ibushi, Kenny Omega & Chase Owens. Omega and Ibushi received a huge pop from the crowd and at one point Cody spit on a “Golden Lovers” sign (Omega and Ibushi’s tag name).

– Hirooki Goto retained his NEVER Openweight Title against The Beer City Bruiser.
– Cody, Marty Scurll & Hangman Page def. Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi & Chase Owens.
The finish of the main event saw Page pinning Owens. During and after the match, out of frustration Cody barked at The Young Bucks, Marty Scurll & Hangman Page.
