WWE bringing WrestleMania back to New Orleans in 2018

WWE is bringing WrestleMania back to New Orleans in 2018.

F4WOnline.com has confirmed that the city’s Superdome will once again be home to WWE’s biggest event of the year as WrestleMania 34 takes place in Louisiana. An official announcement is expected shortly.

The building was the location of WrestleMania 30, where Daniel Bryan’s journey to the WWE Championship culminated in him first defeating Triple H in the show’s opener and then beating Batista and Randy Orton in a triple threat main event to win the title. That show also featured Brock Lesnar ending The Undertaker’s WrestleMania undefeated streak, an in-ring promo segment with Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, and The Rock, John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt, and Cesaro winning the first Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

It seems that WWE liked their time in the city, as they’re bringing WrestleMania back just four years later. New Orleans has long been a destination location that people will flock to for big events and the Super Bowl is held at the Superdome fairly regularly.

Before WrestleMania makes its way to New Orleans again in 2018, this year’s show will be held at Camping World Stadium (the former Citrus Bowl) in Orlando, Florida on April 2nd.

On Sunday night, Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet first reported confirmation that New Orleans would host WrestleMania 34.
