Brock Lesnar/UFC News, What Cena Said to Reigns, Finn Misses Show

Earlier this year, it seemed like a forgone conclusion that Brock Lesnar would be leaving WWE to return to UFC for a fight against Daniel Cormier. However, over the past few months, Lesnar has resurfaced on WWE programming and has regained the Universal Championship? What does this mean for Lesnar’s future in MMA? According to UFC President Dana White, he has not called or spoken with “The Beast Incarnate” in a while. Although White said that he was told earlier in the week that Lesnar had signed “a bunch of new WWE deals” that it would not prevent him from returning to UFC. White says that Daniel Cormier is still open to the fight, and that it may be more likely to take place in a few more months.

John Cena is set to return to the ring in just a couple of weeks. Cena is currently promoting his upcoming movie Bumblebee, but he will be back in action before the end of the year on some WWE live events. During an interview with Chris Van Vilet, Cena was asked a series of questions, including if he had spoken with Roman Reigns ever since “The Big Dog” announced that he would be stepping away from the ring to battle leukemia. Cena mentioned that he did indeed text Roman on the day that he made the announcement on Raw, and he promised that he will be there for Reigns if he needs any guidance. The 16-time world champion respects all that Roman has done for the business, and he is hopeful that he’ll beat the disease and come back stronger than ever.

“I know Joe. I know Joe’s a tough SOB. I don’t ever expect: ‘Hey man, I

need this.’ I don’t ever expect to get that text, but if I do I think we
have a mutual understanding that he knows it’s as good as done.”
Cena also added.

Finn Balor remains one of the most popular members on the Raw roster in WWE, so when WWE visited South America for some of their live events this week, fans were expecting to see the first-ever Universal Champion in action. Unfortunately, Balor had to miss one show in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He had been scheduled to compete against Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler in a Triple Threat match, but Balor’s absence forced WWE to turn the bout into a singles match between Ziggler and McIntyre. “The Demon King” posted an apology to the fans on social media for missing the event. There is currently no reason as to why Balor was not able to wrestle on the show from this past weekend as of now.
