Nikki Cross has become one of the biggest fan-favorite wrestlers among the Full Sail University crowd. It’s easy to see why through the commitment to her character and the fantastic matches that she constantly has on NXT. However, WWE has been hyping up her main roster debut on television for weeks now, and she is expected to start on Raw or SmackDown imminently. Following her loss to Bianca Belair on NXT this week, Cross posted a message on Twitter bidding farewell to WWE’s developmental program. Cross first debuted on NXT as part of the SAnitY faction, but she stayed in NXT for a few more months after the rest of the group was called up. Cross’ NXT run is over and fans should expect to see her on WWE’s main shows very soon.
See you down the road @WWENXT

For those who may have missed it, independent wrestler Priscilla Kelly provoked a ton of discussion following a controversial spot. The spot saw Kelly remove a bloody tampon from her wrestling gear and shoved it into her opponent’s mouth during a Suburban Fight Pro Wrestling event. She talked about the spot on the Shining Wizards podcast, but she mentioned that she is not worried about the spot damaging her reputation in the business. Kelly believes that the spot won’t cost her a future opportunity to sign with WWE, but even if the company doesn’t hire her, she says that there are plenty of other promotions for her to work for. Since the spot occurred, wrestlers and fans alike have been divided over whether or not it was appropriate.
“There’s a lot worse things that have happened not only on TV, but I think there are a lot worse things that have
happened privately in wrestlers’ lives. These things are very public,
and I think what I did, it’s simply a stunt at the end of the day.
There’s no cruelty behind my actions, and I think that is the most
important aspect.” Kelly said.
There’s only a few more weeks left to go until the highly anticipated “Fighting With My Family” movie premieres in theaters. The film is based on the upbringing and career of WWE Superstar Paige, and it will largely follow the documentary of the same name. MGM has just released a brand new image from the movie, which has been posted down below. The movie is being produced by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and he also has a role in the film. Several trailers and photos for the movie have been coming out over the past few weeks in order to hype up the movie, so this may not be the last sneak peak for the film before its release date. Fans surely will not want to miss this one when it comes out on February 22nd.
