WWE RAW Results 3/25

WWE RAW is live tonight from the TD Garden in Boston. Here’s the latest teaser trailer from WWE to get you ready for the show.

The WWE announced earlier today (Monday) that for the first time ever women would work the main event of WrestleMania as RAW Women’s Champion “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey will defend her title against SmackDown Superstars Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. In light of that announcement, RAW will kickoff tonight with a beat the clock challenge as Rousey, Lynch and Flair will each take on a separate member of Riott Squad and whoever wins their match in the shortest amount of time wins the challenge. Also, Finn Balor will take on Lio Rush and Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley in a handicap match, Kurt Angle will battle United States Champion Samoa Joe in one of his last matches before his retirement match at WrestleMania against Baron Corbin, Roman Reigns will answer whether he accepts Drew McIntyre’s challenge for a WrestleMania match and we’ll get more in the return from retirement from Beth Phoenix and Braun Strowman terrorizing Saturday Night Live’s Colin Jost, a WrestleMania guest commentator.

RAW Women’s Champion Rowdy Ronda Rousey Opens the Show
We go to the ring and the champ says for the first time ever women will main event WrestleMania. She tells the crowd they’re welcome. Then, after dropping the mic, Rousey picks it back up and says she has one more thing to say – she’s going to make Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch tap out. She drops the mic and says that all she has to say again. Then, she picks up the mic again and says she has no idea what a Beat The Clock challenge match is – it sounds like a BS gimmick they have going in WWE – so she says let’s get this farce underway and drops the mic a third time. Out comes the Riott Squad. The announce team of Michael Cole, Renee Young and Corey Graves announces Sarah Logan will take on Rousey in her part of the challenge.
Before that match gets underway, Becky Lynch’s music hits, the crowd goes nuts with Becky chants and Lynch addresses Rousey. She tells Rousey that she came in with her big money contract, wrestled the best and nobody gave a damn until The Man came around. Becky chants pick up again. Becky says she is the best thing to happen to Rousey. Lynch says she saved Rousey’s title reign and we all know how WrestleMania will end. Lynch will have Rousey’s belt in her hand and Rousey’s skull beneath her foot.

Charlotte Flair’s music hits. The Queen says blah blah blah blah. They are talking so much noise. Women are the main event – not because of what Becky did for the last 6 months or Ronda for the last year. They are the main event because of what Flair has done for 7 years. That’s why she was handpicked to be the main event of WrestleMania.

Beat The Clock Challenge
RAW Women’s Champion “Rowdy Ronda Rousey vs. Sarah Logan
The match starts and Logan gets out of the ring and runs away from Rousey. Ronda chases her back in only to have Logan run circles around the ring again. Logan then wheelbarrows the champion until Rousey crab walks her way to the ropes to break the hold. She lands a huge elbow in Logan’s face and then locks in an arm bar to win in 1 minute, 25 seconds.

Charlotte Flair vs. Ruby Riott
Charlotte goes for the big boot, but Ruby dumps her out of the ring. Riott then knocks The Queen out of the ring. Flair then goes for Natural Selection, but Riott counters out. Riott then hit a DDT and got a 2 count on a pinfall attempt. Ruby then goes for a Riott Kick, but Flair counters and locks in the Figure 8. However, the clock runs out before Riott taps out.

Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan
Before the match starts, Flair lands a big boot in the face of Becky. The bell rings. Liv rains down a bunch of kicks in a ring corner on Lynch and goes for a pin attempt, but Becky kicks out. Morgan then gets a rear chinlock hold in the middle of the ring. Lynch works her way out of it and hits a series of uppercuts and clotheslines. Lynch went for the Dis-Arm-Her but Morgan countered out of it. However, Lynch gets a takedown of Morgan and then rolls her up for the 1-2-3 to beat the clock by seven seconds.
Winner: Becky Lynch Wins the Beat The Clock Challenge
Rousey, Flair and Lynch jaw at each other as The Man celebrates in the ring. The announce team teases Finn Balor against Lio Rush and Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley in a handicap match before we go to break.

Handicap Match
Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley with Lio Rush & Jinder Mahal with The Singh Brothers vs. Finn Balor
Lio has the mic on the entrance ramp and says the road to WrestleMania goes through him and Lashley. Rush then says Balor will soon have to leave the game like a broken down piece of garbage, like Patriots retired star Rob Gronkowski. (Getting boos from the Boston crowd) Rush then announces he’s not medically cleared to compete because of Braun Strowman. Rush then says Lashley will have a new teammate. Rush announces Jinder Mahal will be part of the handicap match. Jinder comes out with The Singhs.
The crowd pops for Balor as Lashley starts wailing away on Finn with kicks and right hands. Balor then escapes out of the corner before Lashley can spear him. He lands a right hand on Lashley, knocks Mahal off the apron and scares away the Singhs, but Rush distracts him as Lashley runs over and hits a clothesline to knock Finn off the apron as we go to break.
Balor is trying to battle back as we return from the break. Lashley gets the upperhand and rams his shoulder repeatedly into Balor in the corner. Balor tries to counter with a Slingblade, but Lashley ducked out of it. Mahal tags in and Balor whips him around. Lashley tries to ambush Balor with a double-leg takedown, but Finn rallies and knocks Lashley out of the ring. Finn then gets Mahal back in the ring, drops Jinder and hits the Coup de Grace for the victory over Mahal to cement a spot against the Intercontinental Champion at WrestleMania.
Winner: Finn Balor clinches WrestleMania spot
Lashley then takes out The Singhs and glowers at the ramp.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Elias
We go to a taped segment of Elias in Times Square of New York. He says everyone is lining up to Walk with Elias as the special musical guest at WrestleMania. A street performer strums a guitar and tries to start to sing, but Elias says he’s a solo act and sends him on his way.
We face back in to the arena as we get the creepy entrance of Aleister Black as he rises out of the floor amidst his smoke and candles.

Non-Title Match
Aleister Black & Ricochet vs. RAW Tag Team Champs The Revival
Black enters the ring as we go to break. When we return, Ricochet makes his entrance to a pop from the crowd. The crowd gets as quiet as a library as Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder make their entrance.
Black and Ricochet start brawling with Dawson and Wilder before they can even take their belts and warm-ups off. Black then launches Ricochet in a leap frog jumping strike on Dawson before taking out Wilder.
Black and Wilder open up. Wilder gets in a few punches before tagging in Dawson, who grounds Black and locks in some headlocks and armlocks in the middle of the ring. Black counters and lands a massive kick on Dawson’s chin. Ricochet tags in, leapfrogs Black again and hits some dropkicks to take out The Revival. Ricochet tried to hit a suicide somersault off the apron, but it looked like a botch or Wilder just simply stepped out of the way. Black then hits a jumping knee strike off the apron as we go to break.
Dawson has Ricochet grounded in a headlock as we return from break. Ricochet tries to fight his way to the corner but scoop slams Ricochet. Wilder tags in and The Revival hit a double team vertical suplex with Dawson dropping The One and Only. Wilder toys with Ricochet on the mat, getting him in a wristlock as Dawson tags in again.
Dawson rakes his boots across Ricochet’s face. Ricochet counters and hits a kick to Dawson’s face. Wilder tags in and Ricochet counters with a neckbreaker. Black and Dawson tag in. Black cleans house with a series of kicks on Dawson and then hits a second-rope moonsault to take out both Revival members. Black then hits a vicious kick and back elbow on Dawson as Dawson barely kicks out of a pin attempt.
Wilder then knocks Ricochet off the apron and The Revival try to cheat their way to victory, but Ricochet is able to get up and make the tag on Black’s back as he is whipped into a corner. Black then hits Black Mass on Wilder before Ricochet nails the 630 on Wilder for the victory.

Winners: Aleister Black & Ricochet
After the match, we get a tease of a Triple H promo before the Scottish Pyschopath’s music hits and Drew McIntyre makes his menacing walk to the ring. Cole teases an answer for McIntyre’s WrestleMania match challenge as McIntyre flexes and makes intimidating grunts and yells from the ropes as we go to break.

Roman Reigns Accepts Drew McIntyre’s WrestleMania Challenge
We come back from break and Drew says he’s waited a long time to hear Roman’s answer to his challenge. He knows why. Drew says he could have ended Roman any time he wanted, but he didn’t. McIntrye then throws it to the clip of him ambushing Reigns two weeks ago. McIntyre says Roman may have beat leukemia, but he will never beat him at WrestleMania. He says he already vanquished The Shield, exterminated the cockroach, Dean Ambrose, and beat the No. 1 contender for The Universal Championship, Seth Rollins.
McIntryre says he knows Roman wants to say he never turns down a challenge. But says he wants to appeal to the man, Joe Anoi’a. His poor wife and children have already had to see their husband and father fight for his life once. Do they really want to see it again at WrestleMania? Because Roman will lose. McIntyre says he will hold RAW hostage and stand in the ring all night if he has to to get his answer.
Roman’s music hits and he glares at McIntyre as he comes down the entrance ramp. Roman stands chin to chin with Drew, glares him down and says Roman accepts your challenge. Roman says listen carefully. This doesn’t come from Roman. He says Drew better never mention his wife and kids again. Roman then clobbers Drew with a series of fists before dumping him out of the ring and whipping him into the barricade and around ringside. He rolls Drew back into the ring, and then McIntyre hits a low blow to stop the assault.
As Roman is writhing in pain, McIntyre does his psych up gyrations in the corner before landing a Claymore Kick to lay out Reigns. Drew then stands over him as a group of referees kick McIntyre out of the ring. Roman gathers himself and picks himself up as we go to break.
Backstage with Drew McIntyre & Dean Ambrose

Dean asks Drew what he called him? A cockroach? Dean says he doesn’t feel exterminated. He then challenges McIntrye to a Last Man Standing match that’s announced for later tonight.

Women’s Tag Team Champ Sasha Banks with partner Bayley vs. Natalya with Beth Phoenix
Corey Graves likens Sasha Banks to gangster informant Whitey Bulger as Renee Young is disgusted. That was of course after Cole’s mandatory scream that it’s Boss Time.
Natalya quickly gets the upperhand, bending Banks backward in the middle of the ring before Sasha counters with double knees. Banks tries to get a sunset flip, but Natalya isn’t caught up in it and tries to step through into the Sharpshooter. But Banks stops it and drives Natalya out of the ring. The Boss hits a hurricanrana off the apron and then makes Natalya eat a knee up against the barricade as we go to break.
As we return, Natalya has the upperhand with Banks stretched out up on her shoulders, but Sasha counters after Natalya comes off the ropes and runs up her back. Banks got the Bank Statement locked in, but Natalya didn’t tap. Natalya then almost rolled through and got The Sharpshooter. Tamina and Nia Jax then start a suprise ambush. Beth Phoenix then stops the assault as Tamina and Nia clear the ring of The Boss N Hug Connection and Natalya. Phoenix actually picked Jax up on her shoulders but Tamina prevented a slam. However, Phoenix rallied with a Glam Slam on Tamina. The heels retreat as Phoenix and Natalya stand tall in the ring.

Winner: No Contest
We go to the announce team that shows an announcement and video package of The Hart Foundation – Bret “The Hitman” Heart and “The Anvil” Jim Neidhart being announced as the next inductees into the 2019 Hall of Fame class. Natalya and Beth Phoenix are crying and hugging in the middle of the ring as we come back from the video package. Natalya then points to the sky and celebrates with the crowd as we go to Charly Caruso backstage.

Backstage with Kurt Angle
Angle says his Farewell Tour is about leaving on his terms. Angle says he appreciates that Samoa Joe came over from SmackDown to compete tonight and he appreciated wrestling Chad Gable and Apollo Crews past few weeks. Then, he says this will be his last match in Boston, getting a huge crowd pop. Baron Corbin rolls up, then insults Angle’s age and says the fans only cheer for him because they feel sorry for him. He says at WrestleMania he will embarrass Angle and end his career. Angle says screw you and walks off.
We go back to the ring ramp and out comes Alexa Bliss for A Moment of Bliss segment up when we come back from break.

Backstage with The Boss N Hug Connection
Charly Caruso runs down Beth Phoenix and Natalya coming for them, losing to The IIconics on SmackDown and their history with Nia Jax and Tamina. An angry Boss says we’ll take them all on at WrestleMania.

A Moment of Bliss – SNL’s Che and Jost Enter Battle Royal
Alexa says WrestleMania just keeps getting better since she was announced as a host. She takes credit for WrestleMania having a women’s main event for the first time. Bliss then says, however, she feels her hosting job is in jeopardy because of the animosity between Saturday Night Live personality and WrestleMania guest commentator Colin Jost and Braun Strowman. We get a video package of Strowman choking out Jost and destroying the car Jost got Strowman as an apology.
Bliss then announces Strowman as her first guest. The crowd roars with The Monster Among Men as he walks to Alexa’s chairs set up in the middle of the ring. Alexa shakes Braun’s hand and they take a seat. She welcomes Braun and runs down his temper. He’s flipped an ambulance with Roman Reigns in it, brought down a RAW set on top of Brock Lesnar and destroyed Vince McMahon’s limo. She asks what would happen if Michael Che and Colin Jost “got these hands.” Strowman says when he saw the car Jost got for him he felt like smashing his pasty face. Bliss then says she hopes Braun will listen to her next guests, introducing Che and Jost via satellite.
Jost puts on a Yankees hat, drawing a huge amount of boos from the Boston crowd. Che says he respects Braun but he crossed a line. He says Braun is the one who jacked up Colin. He says Colin isn’t funny, but is a good guy. Jost said when he put in his Twitter bio that he wanted to be a mentor to Braun that he meant it since he went to Harvard. Jost then trolls the controversy of parents paying to get their kids into college by saying his parents spent money to get him on the women’s cross country at Harvard. Jost then goes full heel and says he could teach Braun how to chew food and how to do basic things before demanding repayment for the car Braun destroyed and that he gets an autograph from Brock Lesnar.
Braun then references an Instagram post by Che about making things right…physically. Strowman then demands Jost enter the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania. Che then enters Jost at the Battle Royal to avoid a backstage confrontation with Strowman. Jost then enters Che into the battle royal and starts a Che’s in, too, chant. Strowman says shut up. Strowman then asks Alexa to make it official and Bliss is happy to say that it is official…. both Che and Jost are in the battle royal. Strowman then threatens if they don’t show up he will stalk them in the streets of New York until they get these hands!
Ladies and Gentlemen, Elias
Another taped segment with The Drifter at Madison Square Garden. He says it isn’t as bad as the garden in Boston, but it is a dump. He said he’s already sold out MSG three times. A man then hands Elias a quarter. He is offended and then asks if the man has any idea how much people would pay to see him in New York.

Baron Corbin vs. Apollo Crews

Corbin is announced as former RAW General Manager, former Golden Gloves boxer, former United States Champion, former Money in the Bank winner, former Andre the Giant Battle Royal winner and Boston’s favorite as we go to break.
Action is underway when we start again. Crews has the upperhand and gets three near falls before hitting a dropkick and then clotheslining The Lone Wolf out of the ring. Crews then hits a somersault takedown of Corbin out of the ring. The Lone Wolf counters by ramming Crews into a ring post and a barricade before he rolls him in the ring. Corbin then whips Crews into a turnbuckle before slamming him to the mat. Crews rallies with a step-up enziguri and hits a top-rope frogsplash for a 2 count. Apollo then tries to mount some offense off the ropes but Corbin catches him for an End of Days and it’s over for Crews.

Winner: Baron Corbin
Corbin is about to leave the ring after celebrity with no crowd reaction, but he returns and hits a second End of Days on Crews to get a smattering of boos.

Seth Rollins Addresses Universal Champion Brock Lesnar
Seth says he and Brock aren’t cut from the same cloth. Rollins wants to be a champion that inspires people like Triple H, John Cena, The Rock and other greats from the past. But Lesnar is not a champion that inspires people. Rollins said at the meet and greet he had and Boston that every single person came up to him and said the same thing – please, Seth, beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. He said that hit him in the heart. He said he would beat Brock, but now he feels like he doesn’t have a choice. He said he has to defeat Brock because he refuses to let him be the champion that defines the future of the wrestling industry. Rollins says with an army behind him, we are going to march to the gates of Suplex City and tries to start a Burn It Down chant. However, he’s interrupted by Paul Heyman.
Heyman says he traveled all the way to Boston to say thank you. He says thanks for letting him know that the match at WrestleMania is now a handicap match. The reigning, defending, heavyweight Universal Champion Brock Lesnar(!) vs. (whiny voice) Seth Rollins and the entire WWE Universe. Heyman says he likes the odds because Rollins’ chances of winning is zero. Heyman says Rollins sounds pathetic. He needs the fans to love him blah blah blah…then he runs down the current generation of people who are constantly whining for thoughts and prayers. Heyman says Rollins needs thoughts and prayers from the fans because he doesn’t have a thought in his head of how to beat Brock nor a prayer in doing so. He says don’t take it personally, Seth, when Brock wins at WrestleMania wins. He wants Seth to take it personally when he and the entire WWE Universe loses at WrestleMania. He drops the mic and tries to strut off.
Rollins then chases down Heyman at the top of the ramp. He tries to stop, drop and roll. He screams that he hopes Rollins wins, Brock told him to say everything…don’t hurt him. Rollins says Heyman has it all wrong. He says we (he and the Universe) are marching to the gates of Suplex City and holds up the mic for the crowd to say Burn It Down as he drops the mic on Heyman.

Triple H Promo

Back from the break and Triple H is in the ring with a mic.
Triple H congratulates the women on earning the WrestleMania 35 main event, praising them for what they do. He says that makes him happy but some things don’t, like this letter he pulls out. He reveals that Batista, via letter from his lawyer, wanted him to put his career on the line in their No Holds Barred match at WrestleMania 35, or else Batista wouldn’t wrestle. They also wanted the WrestleMania date moved to accommodate his movie filming. Triple H knocks Batista for beating up an old man, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, just to get a WrestleMania match. Triple H says this is just another attempt by Batista to quit. Triple H says he will not let Batista quit this time.

Triple H goes on and says he’s never given a crap about Batista and he’s never been obsessed with him, but he is obsessed with kicking Batista’s ass. Triple H says at this point in their careers, if he can’t beat a self-deluded douchebag like Batista, then he has no business being in the ring anyway. Triple H agrees to put his career on the line. Triple H drops the mic and makes his exit as the music hits.
