Amid Sunjuwan Camp Attack, Armyman’s Injured Wife Gives Birth To Baby Girl

A pregnant woman, who was injured during the suicide attack on the Sunjuwan military camp in Jammu, delivered a baby girl at the Satwari military hospital on Sunday.

Rifleman Nazir Ahmad’s 35-week-old pregnant wife, along with 11 others, was shot in the lower back when Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists attacked civilians at the family quarters of the Army camp in Sunjuwan on national highway 1A, connecting Jammu to Srinagar, early on Saturday morning. She was rushed to the military hospital in an Army chopper, where a caesarean section was performed on her on Sunday.
