In a shocking incident, a mob assaulted a man and injected acid in his eyes at an eatery in Pipra Chowk late last night. The group accused him of eloping with the employer’s wife. According to police, a person has been arrested in the case.
The victim is a driver by profession and was left critically injured, Deputy Superintendent of Police B K Singh said.
